Fatima Tambajang driving momentum and equipping African Developer Communities

Fatima Tambajang was born in Denmark and raised in the UK to Gambian parents.
Fatima is currently the Head of Developer Relations for Africa at Nvidia. In her role, she is responsible for driving momentum with external African developer communities and equipping them with programs, tools and the knowledge needed to create innovative solutions with NVIDIA AI & GPUs.

Prior to her work with Nvidia, Fatima managed a global accelerator program where she worked with dozens of high growth startups to assist them to scale their operations through facilitating partnerships across key African markets (Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa).

For over a decade, she has had a deep interest in fintech, evident in both her undergraduate and masters thesis examining the challenges and opportunities in the remittance market. Fatima’s interest in remittances led her to work with a leading Ghanaian fintech company for over five years.

Fatima grew up between Copenhagen, Banjul and Manchester and has worked & lived in over six countries, aiding her with a global business outlook.

She has spoken on several platforms including the BBC Africa Debate, Forbes & Copenhagen Fintech Week. She is also a project development consultant and has fostered collaboration with organizations such as Forbes, BBC, UNDP and the Foreign Ministry of France to name a few. Fatima is a Future Entrepreneur of Denmark Fellow, where she worked with Google and Mckinsey & Co.

Fatima has a masters degree in Global Development and Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a bachelors in International Development and Politics from the University of Chester.
